Tiffany Bynoe Bio

Fresh off her first bona fide contemporary urban jazz single - a re-imagining of The Isley Brothers’ “Make Me Say It Again” that charted on Allen Kepler’s Smooth Jazz Network chart - Tiffany Bynoe immerses even deeper into the genre with “Closer & Closer,” a sensual ballad featuring #1 Billboard charting, multiple Grammy-nominated guitarist Tim Bowman and mixed by #1 Billboard charting saxophonist/producer Darren Rahn.

The track, produced by Tiffany’s husband Kyle Bynoe, is receiving a multitude of raves in advance of its highly anticipated release to radio on September 7, starting with the praise of her new collaborators. Bowman says, “It’s an honor to be part of this. It’s a great song, and Tiffany’s vocals are amazing.” Rahn adds, “Tiffany’s artistry and voice have depth, reach, and emotion. Honest, pure and soulful. I can hear the influence of classic R&B, jazz, and soul legends but with a fresh new approach. She has a voice that speaks!”

Grammy-nominated keyboardist and New Urban Jazz Lounge host Bob Baldwin says, “Tiffany puts her own touch on her latest single, and adds subtle instrumental layers to her smooth vocal sound. It’s a must-have track for Smooth Urban formats.

Recounting her extensive series of singles since releasing her debut track “Seasons” – which charted on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart in 2016 - David Kunert of Future Groove Promotion adds, “Tiffany has graced the airwaves before with her pure and expressive voice on such stellar releases as ‘Love Like Waterfalls’ and her excellent cover of the Deniece Williams classic ‘Free’  ‘Closer & and Closer’ again showcases her warm and inviting vocals, and shows why she fits radio formats like adult urban and smooth jazz so well.  With great production by Kyle Bynoe, and featuring impressive guest appearances by SJ format favorite Tim Bowman on guitar, as well as some tasty trumpet and flugelhorn work from Randall Haywood, Tiffany's artistry shines brightly on this radio-friendly tune.”

R&B legend Howard Hewitt was similarly effusive in his praise: “Tiffany nails this track with her incredible vocal arrangement and silky smooth voice. She’s a proven strong vocalist, and the song crosses all formats. Great tune!”’

“Closer & Closer is inspired by my relationship with Kyle, describing the powerful love and passion we share while also anticipating building on the relationship and growing closer over time,” says Tiffany, who co-wrote the song with her husband. “The pandemic gave all of us time to reflect on our lives, and Kyle and I enjoyed looking back on our many years of what we consider growing up within each other. The song is about discovering greater depth in our relationship and getting to know more about each other as we grow closer. The romantic stuff is the easy part, but love is not just about making love. It’s about developing a well-rounded relationship where two become one and elevate each other. Those same emotions come into play when we think about our relationship with God.”

“Closer and Closer” is the first of several singles Tiffany will be releasing this fall as she looks forward to the release of a new EP on her birthday November 11. The others are: “Build This House on Love,” “Hold Me Till It’s Over” and “Mood,” a dynamic collaboration with Stellar Award winner, multiple Grammy-nominated keyboardist Ben Tankard, who is renowned as the “Godfather of Gospel/Jazz.”

11/11 is also the scheduled release date of Tiffany’s empowering new book M.E., whose title initials stand for “Made Extraordinary” and whose opening lines set the tone for the uplift and encouragement to come: “Your Future Begins Right Now! Welcome to your best self!” In this volume, the singer and entrepreneur advocates for all women, and particularly Black women, to activate their truth, realize their inner beauty and strength, and live out their dreams by realizing that they are indeed created extraordinary.

She offers the secrets, or rather “The Secret” to transforming oneself via a collection of life-altering stories, allegories (including fascinating metaphors for life from “The Wiz”/The Wizard of Oz,” affirmations, and exercises sharing the truth of what she has uncovered as the secret to living our best lives.
